Bill Curren, President & Managing Director
Bill Curren brings over two decades of international sourcing, pricing, and product development expertise to his role as President and Managing Director at Portalis Global Partners. With experience spanning more than 30 countries, Bill has established a proven track record in global manufacturing strategy, supplier relations, and large-scale retail distribution.
Before founding Portalis Global Partners, Bill served as Vice President of Global Sourcing, Pricing, and Data Analytics for LL Flooring/Lumber Liquidators, where he directed category development and vendor optimization across North America, Asia, and Europe. His leadership was instrumental in reducing sourcing costs while improving quality control and compliance standards.
Earlier in his career, Bill held executive positions with major national retailers such as Macy’s, Brookstone, Bed Bath & Beyond, and HSN. His ability to identify high-value opportunities, innovate and develop new products and brands, and manage complex supply chains has helped leading retail and wholesale firms strengthen their competitive edge.
At Portalis, Bill oversees the company’s global operations, strategic partnerships, and long-term vision—focused on building transparent, resilient supply chains that connect clients directly to trusted factory networks. His leadership emphasizes ethical business practices, supplier diversity, and continuous innovation in sourcing and design.
Agnes Yao, Managing Director – Asia
Agnes Yao leads Portalis Global Partners’ Asia operations, bringing over 15 years of experience in global sourcing, manufacturing, and supplier management. Based in Asia, she is responsible for the company’s international vendor network, procurement strategy, and product development oversight across multiple categories.
Prior to joining Portalis, Agnes served as Head of Asia for LL Flooring/Lumber Liquidators, where she managed all overseas operations and an annual sourcing volume exceeding $250 million at cost. Under her direction, the Asia division achieved significant efficiency gains through supplier diversification, cost optimization, and the implementation of enhanced compliance protocols.
Agnes has also held senior leadership positions at Armstrong Flooring and Zwilling J.A. Henckels, overseeing key sourcing initiatives across China, Southeast Asia, and Europe. Her extensive experience with cross-cultural teams and her deep understanding of material science, production methods, and logistics give her a unique perspective on managing complex international supply chains.
At Portalis Global Partners, Agnes plays a central role in expanding the company’s presence across Asia, strengthening relationships with key manufacturing partners, and ensuring consistent product quality and ethical standards. Her hands-on leadership style and strategic insight continue to drive the company’s growth in one of the most competitive global sourcing regions.
